SOLD – Antique Empire Chandelier
A beautiful 1930’s antique chandelier. Empire chandelier also called a wedding cake chandelier in vintage style. Rewired with new sockets and wire and ready to hang. This fixture is fantastic.
The chandelier is made of brass but was painted black when I received it. It’s been taken apart, rewired with new sockets and wire and painted oil-rubbed bronze.
I found a maker’s mark on the ceiling canopy – shown in the photos which say Chase with a logo on it. Chase was a lighting company in the United States that made fixtures in the 1930s. The tiered chandelier did not come with prisms so I added old stock vintage prisms. The glass ball hanging from the bottom is the only prism that is new.
The fixture is an antique but it’s in really good shape – normal wear and tear for a fixture from the 1930s but nothing that will detract from its beauty or function. I will send two ceiling canopies, the original 5″ canopy, and a modern day canopy so you can choose which works best for your space.
Measures 15″ in diameter (width at widest point), 25″ long from the top of the loop to the bottom round glass prism. The original ceiling canopy measures 5″ tall and 6″ wide. The newer ceiling canopy is 5″ across and about 1″ tall.
The chandelier ships free to North America (except Hawaii and Alaska- I will ship there but extra shipping cost may apply). Please message me so I can get your address.
The chandelier has been restored with care and will be packaged with care.
Chandelier will be sent by UPS Ground, Fed Ex, or US Postal.
